Grandmas Beef Stew
-1 – 1.5 kg beef stew meat, cut into strips
-0.450 kg fresh medium mushrooms,halved
-1 whole red cupsicum/pepper diced 3 med. shallots ,sliced
-1 Clove Garlic grated 1 can (10-1/2 oz) condensed beef broth, undiluted
-1 cup dry red wine
-1 envelope brown gravy
-mix 2 Tablespoons tomato paste
-1/4 teaspoon celtic sea salt
-1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
-1/4 teaspoon rosemary
-1/4 teaspoon basil
-1/4 cup cornstarch
-1/4 cup water

– Large Mixing Bowl
*Additional Suggestions: Serve with Steamed Rice or Cooked Egg Noodles Method Brown shallots, red pepper and garlic in your multi cooker.
In a bowl combine broth, gravy mix, red wine, salt, pepper, rosemary, basil, bay leaf, and tomatoe paste in a bowl and poor over top of browned shallots etc Add beef and mushrooms and cook on low for 6 – 7 hours or until meat is tender. Before serving dicard bayleaf, combine water and cornstarch and add to multi cooker. Cook on high for an additional 15 minutes or until thickened.
